My crown and root canal filling fell out Am I in big trouble?
Q. My crown fell off at dinner and now the root canal filling fell out. My dentis t is on vacation and I leave tomorrow “on a jet plane”. Am I in big trouble with the hole.
A. Hi many thanks for your email if the tooth has been root canal treated then there is no infected nerve in the tooth to cause you severe pain. however as soon as you can i would try to get the tooth sorted.

The same thing happend to me last night when I was flossing, except my whole crown fell off with filling inside. Can this be fixed easily? what type of proceedure has to happen?
I have a dental problem. A crown at the frontof my mouth has just come off, and the tooth underneath it looks like it has totally decayed. I know I need to have it seen to, but I have an absolutemorbid terror of the Dentist, even thinking about it now is making me tearful and feeling unwell. I haven’t been to a dentist for3 years, and I know I need a lot of work doing any I have also have some gum problems, but I kept putting it off till the crown came off. I have managed to stick it back on with some temp. filling, but I don’t know how long it will last and I am scared to eat drink or brush my teeth right now. I amjust hoping you will be able to help me. I am not in any actual pain at the moment. I have always had seda tion at previous dental appointments, so I am hoping can do my treatment, I will be able to have that. I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you can help me.
