my cap is yellow after teeth whitening

Q. i am 45 years old i want my teeth whitened but in the middle is a cap which is obviously the same colour as all teeth when put in but since then i have tried whitening with gel so now they are a little whiter but the cap is more yellow, what can i do and what are the costs? thanks

A. There is no way that you can whiten the crown, so you have two options. The first is to accept the crown to be darker than the rest of the teeth, and the second is to change the crown for a new one that matches the new, whiter shade of your teeth. The cost of crowns depend on the quality of the ceramist making them. My crowns are £995.00 per tooth, but i send them to the states to be made by one of the top ceramists in the world.
