Q. Hello, Two years ago I had the root removed from one of my teeth. At the time the dentist said the tooth may break and a crown will have to be fitted. The tooth did break and did not leave enough for the crown to be attached. I would like to know what my options are as my dentist wants to gring the adjoining tooth down and fit a double crown. She said there is a risk of damaging the adjoining tooth, causing permenant sensetivity. Could you please advise what is the best treatment. many thanks
A. I guess this sounds like a bridge. I would also explore the possibility of an implant as this won’t require the need to drill down the adjacent teeth.
