My bottom back molar has spiral roots

Q. My bottom back molar has spiral roots and required a root canal filling, but after two sessions my dentist was unable to remove any of the nerves completely .So we decided to put a filling in the tooth { because i did not want to lose this tooth }and to see how it went . Six weeks on and the tooth is beginning to give me problems. Is there no other treatment to remove or kill off the nerves in this tooth,if not what options are open to me on the nhs.

A. I would approach your dentist and ask for  a referral to a specialist endodontist otherwise you will be heading towards an extraction of the tooth.
