My adult teeth are not growing through and I need surgery, what will happen?

Q.
Hi, im 14years old and went to the orthodontist today. They told me I have 7teeth missing in my mouth which have NEVER grown in! I also have a gap inbetween my two front teeth. i want braces but they said because i still have 7 baby teeth also that when they fall out there will be no teeth to grow in because on the X-RAY it showed that, so the gap would be to big to close! please help! theve told me im due to go to a hospital in 8weeks, but thats so far and what are they going to do?! PLEASE HELP!

so basically once my baby teeth have fallen out, there will be no adult teeth to grow in leaving me with too big of gaps to be closed with braces. please help!

Your orthodontist and general dentist will come up with a plan of what to do now and then what is likely in future. If you are not sure , ask for a second opinion.

hi, im 13, i have 6 teeth missing, i have gaps at the front of my mouth, where there are no teeth growing underneath my baby teeth the orthadonist said that they will start to wobble when im abot 50 years old. i have one wobbly tooth at the moment and they said i have to get it pulled out in july. So they told me i will be getting braces in september which i need to have on for 2 years. One of my missing teeeth is a lateral incisor i have to have a permanet faulse tooth in that gap.

My 7 year old lateral incisors at the bottom came in behid the central ones. We’re thinking about having her canines pulled to allow some room. They look some like this (assume you are looking down on the layout of the teeth!): —– —– — — (Hope that makes sense…!) Her dentist wants to ‘wait and see.’ I don’t agree with that but was wondering what the general consesus was on making room for teeth to come in. In daughters case at the bottom. Thoughts?

Hi, It’s quite normal for them to come through behind and push the baby teeth out as they come forward.extracting them is unnecessary. Extractions may be necessary in future if the canines and premolArs are cramped for space , wait till she isaround 10
