Metal braces aren’t suitable for my job but I can’t afford Invisalign or Clearstep, any advice?

Q.
Hi, My teeth aren’t that bad, only 2 of them are being pushed back which makes them look wonkey… But its always been a problem, i hate my teeth… But im going into jobs that presentation is everything and I really can’t have braces, Is there anyway I could get them straightened on the NHS without getting full on braces? I haven’t got the money to pay for invisalign or Clearstep
A.
the NHS provides functional treatment, funding would not be available for a cosmetic tidy up. Lowest financial costs would be Veneers. Lumineers can be no prep but the comprimise would need to be discussed.
Hope this Helps

Is it possible to have a clear brace on the top teeth, just to widen an arch, while a ceramic brace is worn on the bottom, two teeth need to be extracted due to slight over crowding, and a crossbite needs correcting. i cannot find an orthodontist in the Nottingham area who uses STb lingual, i like the smaller brackets and not as expensive as incognito, could you advise, thanks

Hi, Ive been looking in to cosmetic dentistry for a while now, although have never really knew who to contact for competitive rates as well as great work. I am not too sure what I need but I know what I want.My top teeth are slightly overlapping each other and have become a little discolored; now all I want is dead straight teeth and Im not sure whether a brace is better or to look into veneers?

I have a gap between my two front teeth .. the teeth have a metal band on the back from previous brace work, when I was a teen, I am now 33. But the band has moved the teeth over time and the gap is now distressing me. How isbest to treat this situation? I am hoping something like 6 month smile orinvisalign express ? I just want to cllose the gap and then have a new metal band fitted to hold them in place again… many thanks.

I’m interested in finding out more about the following: – Invisalign – Inman aligner -6 month smile. I have overcrowding on upper and lower teeth. Upper set (probably) the priority if only one can be done at a time. Do you offer a freeconsultation to go through each treatment and see which is most appropriate. For example I need opinion on whether my canines would need moving whichmight dictate which treatment is most appropriate. I would also like info on how often I would need to come in for each of the treatments listed above. Finally, I am currently registered with an NHS dentist. Would I need to un-register with that dentist before I could come to you for treatment? I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks,

When I was younger I was told that I would need braces for two years. I didn’t go ahead with the procedure because I didn’t like the thought of wearing visible train tracks. I would really like to have straight teeth and Invisalign is is something I am really interested. The only thing is I work as a dance and will be away in Australia for 8 months, would that affect thetreatment/ check ups?

i’m not quite sure if this is where I’m meant to put this but…hello I was wondering if you could help with with something. i am 15 and in need ofbraces and i would like some of the clear braces (invisalign, six month smile etc). however i have been told i need 4 teeth out and due to a major phobia of needles refuse to do so. is there any method of braces in which i would not need to have teeth taken out and would these process be expensive?thank you, i hope you can help me 🙂

ive always wanted braces but i couldnt get them under the nhs as they were not ‘severe enough’. my dentist put a crown on one of my front teeth to try and make them more inline. however i still would like braces. happy to privately pay but can i get them even with a crown? does the crown move aswell or is it fixed in that place forever? and if i can get braces, do the ones on the back of your teeth work in exactly the same way as ‘train tracks’? thank you for your time

Alexandre Says :

Hello
The crown will move as the root underneath will still act like a normal tooth. Lingual braces are an option for some people, you might also like to look into Invisalign, these are very popular with adults as they are easy to wear and nearly invisable.

I would suggest a repalcement crown for the best aesthetic as you can never get a good aesthetic result if you try and have that junction filled. Fees range from £500 for a cosmetic crown. Regards,

Hello I was just wondering what colour is the bar over the front on the inman aligner? I have been looking at other braces and although they seem more discreet they don’t seem to act anywhere near as quickly as the inman aligner and they arent specifically for the treatment of front teeth like the inman aligner is. My problem is with my front teeth being really bucked and rabbity so it does make sense to get the inman aligner, but at the same time i want something that is a little bit discreet, thanks you very much

July 20th, 2011 at 08:47 PM
Will Says :

hello the bar is clear Initially the dentist may use a very thin elastic over the front teeth before placing the bar- Its really not that bad and most people get used to it very quickly hope this helps

hi there, I am looking into getting the inman aligner, but am a little nervous about choosing the right dentist. What are the bests ways to find out if your dentist is the right person for the job, so to speak? The brace seems perfect for my condition and is within my price range, im just worried that if i choose the wrong provider they’ll mess all my teeth up (which would be pretty hard, because they’re pretty ugly now!) what would be your tops tips? thank you very much for reading and any help you can give me

Where do you live, the UK I am guessing? If so go see James Russell in Central London or Tif Qureshi in Kent. They are the 2 best with the Inman in the world!

How does dry/mouth excess saliva compare with regular braces? I had a plate brace and train tacks as a kid and found that I would have excess salive for a couple of days after they were fitted and then after that it was fine. I have read a few things seeming to say that this is more of an issue with Invisalign?

hello i hope that you can help me with my problem I know that the inman aligner is removable, but does it still sit quite securely in your mouth. I do a lot of talking, walking and sports and I just don;t want to have a brace flying out of my face every 5 minutes. Also is the inman aligner able to correct protruding front teeth? I do have a pretty goofy smile and it makes me feel really uncomfortable so any advice you can give would be really really great thank you very much

It is very secure and very good ato correct flared teeth if there is room between your upper and lower teeth to bring them in.
