I’ve Seen A Few Dentists Over My Gum Disease And Now Want To Find A Reliable Dentist For Treatment. What Would This Cost?

Q.
Hello. I am 35 years old, I have hereditary gum disease and all my teeth are loose in my gums. I have seen a few NHS dentists, and seen a hygienist at what I feel was wasted cost. It makes me feel incredibly unhappy to think it’s not going to be long until I am toothless! How much am I looking at getting a complete set of implants upper and lower sets including consultations, x-rays, aftercare etc. Are there any payment plans available? Also could you recommend any good reliable dentists? Travelling is not a problem for me within the UK. Thank you.
A.
Hello, I’m sorry to hear of the problems you’ve had with your teeth. Dentures can vary widely in cost, the most important thing is to find a dentist who you’re comfortable with as it sounds like you will need the teeth removing and temporary dentures fitted followed by new ones at a later date. You could also consider implants once the gums have healed. Thank you.
