Yes i have a quick question i have had dental work done on #14 oe the top i have had a crack and then i had a root canal done my tooth has turned black and also i had a crown put over it but now iam getting sharp pain and swelling around my jaw line could i be getting an absest? do you know what it could be?
A. To diagnose this problem an Xray is requred and other tests to determinethe cause of your pain. If the crack in your tooth was severe ( this is often not possible for the dentist to determine), despite following standard procedures of root tretment and crowning, the tooth may need to be removed.
