Ive a crown that has an underlying infection is bridges the best option for it?
Q. I have a crown that has an underlying infection. It is surrounded by tow teeth that have relatively large fillings. I have been told that a bridge is my best option, would you agree? Thanks for your time
A. It may be a good option if the teeth either side of the infected tooth need crowning in the future. You may also consider a dental implant to reduce the stress on the adjacent teeth that can happen with a fixed bridge
