Q. Just been to the dentist and have had a crown fitted in gold. My question is that is this standard that you receive a gold crown on the NHS? This is tooth 5 from centre and i believe to be in my smile line.
A. i’m afraid gold crowns are more readily available on the NHS, you could talk to your dentist about replacing it with a porcelain one.
