Is this standard that you receive a gold crown on nhs
Q. Just been to the dentist and have had a crown fitted in gold. My question is that is this standard that you receive a gold crown on the NHS? This is tooth 5 from centre and i believe to be in my smile line.
A. I’m afraid gold crowns are more readily available on the NHS, you could talk to your dentist about replacing it with a porcelain one.

I am waiting to have a crown done on the NHS, but not sure how much it will cost becourse I want it gold or silver?
I’m getting root canal treatment done, this is costing me £204, do I get the crown included with that or will I have to pay extra? Also, is a procelain crown cheaper or gold one? I’m getting it done on my front tooth(lateral incisor) which crown would be best for me?thanks
