Is there something that can be put over the top of my grey coloured filling?
Q. I just received fillings in my teeth and my dentist said the white fillings are not strong enough because they are in my back teeth, but i cannot stand the way the grey looks on my teeth. Is there something that dentists can put over the top to kind of hide the grey color?
A. White fillings can be used in back teeth if the tooth can be kept dry during the sealing. they are more tecnique sensitive than amalgam fillings and are rarely available on the NHS. Expect to pay £70-150 per tooth for private fillings.Rob
