Is there any way to get a replacement tooth before I have brace treatment?

Q.
I’m in the process of having some bracers fitted to straighten my teeth, today i was given the normal check over and x-ray only to find that that I have still got 1 baby tooth on the upper right side next to my front 2 teeth. It doesn’t look like there is an adult tooth underneath and my dentist thinks with the braces this baby tooth will fall out as it’s already a little loose.

At 31 years old I didn’t think this would happen, is there any way to get a replacement tooth in the same spot to make my smile look even and would it involve a lot of work? I know it’s hard to say without looking at the x-ray and my teeth but is there ways of correcting this? My own dentist has stopped going forward to redo my smile plan, i’m worried it’s going to cost more money which i can’t afford (already at 4k)

Any advise on this matter is most welcome.

Many Thanks

Iain

If there isn’t a permanent tooth present then an implant may work out best, a bridge may involve drilling down other teeth, try to see an implant dentist in your area for a second opinion and maybe a scan to check the bone under the baby tooth.
