Hello Dr Moore. Is there any treatment to enhance the look of your teeth if you have gum disease? My gums are shrinking due to an inherited condition. My teeth look okay but as time goes by it’s starting to look like there are holes between my teeth at the top near the gum. I am 53 and have a huge fear of false dentures.
I have never smoked but I drink socially.
I clean my teeth twice a day
I visit a NHS dentist regularly for scaling and polishing. I would just like to my teeth to look healthy. I hope you can suggest something that could help me. Thank you.

It’s very difficult to make teeth with gum recession look good, but you could speak to a cosmetic dentist in your area and see if they could suggest anything such as veneers or cosmetic bonding.
