Is there any medication that can be used to treat periodontitis/gingivitis?
Q. Hi doc. I would like to ask if theres a medication (intake) for periodontitis/ gingivitis. My dentist advised me to use Pyodontyl toothpaste and mouthwash, salt therapy and using ortho toothbrush. thank you!,
A. Mouthwashes and other medicines can help but the first line of treatment is improving your daily routine to reduce the plaque build up in your mouth.
