Is There An Alternative to a Brace?
Q.
After an accident when I was 9 years old, now at 33 years I have a composite filling on my front left tooth and a porcelain crown on my front right. Both have had nerves removed and the right is secured with a pin. They both stick out a lot and when I bite, I can get my index finger in the gap between the bottom teeth and my upper gum behind the front teeth. I hate the idea of a brace, is there an alternative? I’m happy to have them removed!

Thank you for your question. There are many alternatives and indeed removing them could be a very valid option. I’d need to see you in person to properly assess if it will produce the results you want, so please try to schedule a consultation with either myself or a very reputable cosmetic dentist in your area. Best wishes, Mark.
