Is there a way to grind or shorten the finished dentures after being fit

Q. Hello. I just got my new dentures (It took them 5 months to get them even close to what I had before.)My smile is so different now, because the top teeth are slightly “long”. I always had “shorter” teeth.I am now completely self-concious and used to be known for a huge, pretty smile. Is there a way to grind or shorten the finished dentures after the fact? Thank you for any suggestions.

A.

DEntures can be adjusted by a dentist  after fitting, take care not to unbalance the “gum” to tooth ratio as this will also look odd.
