Is my daughter too young for veneers?
Q. My 13 year old daughter has two discoloured top front teeth. Her dentist has over the last few years been applying a white filling to cover them up. Is she too young to have veneers ?,
A. It depends on whether your daughters upper central incisors are fully erupted. Often dentists like to leave this untill they are certain the teeth are fully through and this can be around the ages of 16-18. Your dentist should be able to tell you if this is possible by a visual examination. Dr K Solanki
