Is its important to know about herpes as a dentist?
Q. Why is it so important if you have herpes 1 and 2 to know as a dentist. The reason why i ask because i am becoming a dentist ass. and i need to know why is it so important to know if a someone had herpes.
A. Herpes virus can be spread in the aerosol spray that dentistry creates. it can be a serious infection in some patients and can cause permanent damage if it is spread to the eyes

Can dental treatment cause herpes?
Dental treatment does not cause herpes but can triggger an episode in someone already infected
