Is it possible to make two prominent teeth ‘fit’ better with the rest od my smile?

Q.
Hi, im just curious what would need to be done as for some time now ive been unhappy with the size of my two front teeth there not goofy looking just quite long and wide. I spoke to my dentist about it and he advised me to get nothing done with them as if i get them shortened etc. they may look odd and will most likely cause me sensitivity in later life. But they are getting me down and im very concious of them all the time, what do you suggest?. many thanks

Dear Enquirer,
It is possible to make the two prominent teeth ‘fit’ better with your smile and face, and this can sometimes be done by placing 4 veneers on your front four teeth as we can make the side teeth slighlt more wider, whilst the two front teeth can be made smaller.
Without seeing you I cannot say for sure, but if you are able to come and see me at my practice Sparkle Dental Boutique,I would be more than happy to advise you. Do take a look at the gallery section on the website www.sparkledental.co.uk where you can see many cases I’ve completed using veneers.

Sunita
