Is it possible to file the edge of my veneer which has chipped?

I have a veneer on my front tooth which closed quite a large gap but there is a slight chip on the edge, is it possible to file the edge and remake a small gap to smooth the chip and make it easier to clean?

I would rather suggest you go see a Cosmetic Dentist. If you can go to the same Dentist that fit the veneers for you, you might not have to pay extra cost.
