Is it normal to experience pain following a root canal treatment?
Q. I have just had root canal treatment. When I got home the tooth became painful and I am now in a very great deal pain. I have taken pain killers which have no effect. Is this normal ?,
A. It can take a few weeks for the tooth to completely settle down after a root canal filling, hopefully day by day you should start to feel some improvement. If you feel no improvement after a few days go back to see your dentist.
