Q. I recently had an abcess near the front of my mouth on my tooth which has a root filling and had cracked and got infected. I have just finished my course of antibiotics and was told the root has died and the tooth needs to come out. I am reluctant to do this, as it is going to leave a gap near the front of my mouth. What would you suggest I do to fill in the gap? And is there any other options? many thanks,
