Is it necessary to have a crown on my root canal teeth
Q. I have recently had route canal treatment and then had a white filling. My dentist is advising me that I will also need a crown on top of the white filling. My question is, is this really necessary? Can I not just leave the white filling on its on.
A. In many circumsatnce it could be necessary. Ask your dentist if you have any doubts and the reasons why he would recommend a crown. I am sure there will be valid reasons why he/she has recommended a crown.
