Is it correct to have a new denture made because my current one doesn’t fit correctly?
Q.
i had a missing front tooth, then i had a from tooth extraction 2 weeks ago with a denture fitted immediately,it does not fit right in my mouth. when first fitted couldnot remove it went back to denist he then made it very loose ,i have been back today to tell him that its still not right and he told me to leave it 6 weeks and that i cannot have another 1 made is this right .because i am currenlty exempt from paying for my treatment. i really don’t know what else to do.

You might be best to wait for the gum to heal up before impressions are taken for another denture. It might be still worth popping back to see if they can make it a bit tighter in the meantime
