Is inman aligner best option for me?

Q. Hello Dr Glaister, My teeth are straight, except for one top lateral incisor which is rotated. I never considered braces, since i only need one tooth corrected. I don’t want a veneer because i don’t want to shave down an otherwise healthy tooth. I recently heard of the Inman aligner and thought I may be a candidate for that, but I notice Simpli5 is a similar price, I’m not sure which is better for me? Also, simpli5 seems to be a similar system to Invisalign but is far cheaper, is there a catch i should know about?,
A. Simpli5 corrects only slightly malaligned teeth (it is like Invisalign but uses less technology and a maximum of 5 applinaces – Invisalign can correct more). An Inman appliance can correct mild rotations – it depends how out of alignment / rotated your tooth is. I would suggest a complimentary Invisalign consultation to discuss your options in more detail. www.umbrellasmiles.com
