I’m unhappy with the veneers I received today, what can I do about it?

Hi Dr Moore, I went to receive 10 upper porcelain crowns/veneers today – and was very, very disappointed. My dentist has done a very thorough job of preparing my teeth & made umpteen impressions for the lab. And the lab seemed to be very competent. But somehow the final set, when put in my mouth looked like the before picture, whereas the temporary crowns looked like the after! I’ve asked to have changes made but how can this happen, i.e. does the actual fitting in your mouth affect the final result? Really worried I’ve paid £8000 to end up with teeth pretty much the same as I started with. Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me.

Hello, thank you for your question.It can happen but can be rectified, speak to your dentist in detail about what look you’re tried to achieve and hopefully they can create this for you. Good luck and take care.
