Q. Hi there,im 26 and i have always had an overbite however it has got worse through the years and is now roughly i would say 9-10mm, and i also have crooked overlapping teeth on the bottom. however i was wondering if the nhs would be able to fix this or would i have to go private? im not sure if they would say it was purely cosmetic, although i do get pain in my back molars and often bite my bottom lip with my top teeth. any advice is really appreciated. thanks
A. Hi , I’m sorry but i doubt whether you will get adult orthodontic treatment on the NHS. As this stage its always classed as cosmetic treatment.
