If I have veneers can I replace them with lumineers?

Q.
If i were to have normal veneers fitted would i be able to have lumineers fitted in the future.

many thanks

A.
Dear Enquirer,
Lumineers are normal veneers, except they are a different brand of veneers, normally reserved for teeth that have ‘no preparation’. If you have a traditional veneer, there will be some element of tooth preparation, even though it will be minimal. So once you have these veneers, you will not be able to replace them with Lumineers, it will not be necessary as you will always have traditional veneers. However you do not need to think about replacement for 10-15 years.

Veneers are thin sheets or porcelain that cover the front surface of your tooth, they can be used to change the colour, shape and look of your teeth and smile.
