Thank you for your enquiry, we’d be delighted to help you. It sounds like an implant retained denture option may be a good choice fro you, or alternatively much better dentures. I would advise you to come and see our Prosthodontic Specialsit Dr Fahey who is an expert in such matters and he can advise ou on all your options.

All of my molar teeth have been extracted on the upper jaw. I have my cnniae teeth left I would like some replacements without dentures or implants, is a bridge possible? I am thinking maybe not as there is no tooth on the molars for attatchment? Has anuone else had a similar dilema? Thankyou so much.

hi i am with the nhs and have been for years with the same dentist. i went for replacment dentrues thinking they would be the same as my old onces but they’re not! they’re very bulky and i cant speak. i specifically asked for my old ones to be copied but my dentist said that they wouldn’t be the same as my mputh has altered during the years. i still paid quite a lot for the dentures but considering going private cos the yare HUGE and i mean really big, i look like a horse. so what would you advise? regards.

please return to your dentist and discuss the options with them. I do not know what the NHS fees are for dentures, so cannot help you with any fee issue, however they are well advertised and should not exceed £300 (from memory).

I am in a quandry …. I need to replace upper left first and second molar. I have been advised by one implantologist that 2 bicon implants would be suffcient (there is around 7.2 – 8mm bone ). A 2nd person suggested a full length implant angled for the first molar and the second molar a short implant if they can after extraction save enough bone or a internal sinus lift and implant. Whats your opinion on the Bicon short implants in this area, also mentioned was angling an implant can have problems of its own. Very confused!

Internal sinus lift would be what we would usually suggest, or tilted implants.
