I went to a private dentist and have realised what a bad job my previous NHS dentist did. What can I do?

Q.
Hello,
I have just been to a private dentist today to enquire about getting my teeth whitened I decided to choose one of the best in Aberdeen (Fergus & Glover) they took one look in my mouth & cant believe how bad an NHS dentist has left it after getting treatment & X-ray done only 1 month ago, they said i need root canal on my front tooth and is surprised its not infected yet & also I have a massive hole in the tooth at the back? So i have any rights against an NHS dentist for leaving me like this and now leaving me with a massive bill that i will have to know pay to go private as i no longer trust the NHS? Thanks
A.
I can not really help you with this but you should go back to your previous dentist and talk to him or her.

I was a child a dentist on the NHS in Essex, fitted a bridge, I only need a brace to align two slightly overlapping teeth they removed 6 of my top front teeth there are 14 missing altogether & I’m sure it was unnecessary I was only 15, they never advised me the bridge wouldn’t last long it came out in may 2009 it was there for 20 years, its left me phyiscaly & psychologicalicaly damaged I smashed my flat up as result and started drinking excessively to remove myself from my world & lifestyles I’m gay I committed an arson attack on the flat next door..it left me with a nasty ugly NHS denture for 3 years in prison to get used to the idea of it I can’t, I also could of rotted in there for life my life is just as bad out here as in there, a Crown next to the bridge recently came out and now he wants to fit a nasty plastic thing again, I’m chronicly clinicaly depressed won’t go out or so slide any more I have no life I’ve written to dignitas for assisted suicide, I’m. At my wits end and just want to die, they tell me implants are expensive I couldn’t afford them in not prepared to wear a denture I have an aversion to it, because of my arson charge id probably burn it anyway..can U make any suggestions for a referral to a trauma unit dental hospital maybe they could do something as things are I will probably give up the will to live thanks Glenn

I have s tooth at the front top, which slightly overlaps another tooth, causing it to stick out a little, what are my options to get rid of this problem .?i believe that it needs filing down, then a crown over it…

It could veneered or crowned which means drling down the tooth. Alternatively a small brace could re align this tooth
