I was told to get a cap on a molar, but the hole hasn’t reached the nerve, can filling suffice?
Q. I was told I may need a cap on a molar, the hole hasnt reached the nerve yet. Can I get away with just a filling?
A. Whether the hole has reached the nerve or not influences whether you need a root canal , the crown is for strength why dont you ask your dentist
