I was considering getting Lumineers

Q. Hi I was considering getting Lumineers as I feel really that I lack confidence due to the current condition of my teeth. Looking on the internet, I couldn’t find any information on the cost of this or where I could get it done. I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. Is it really expensive? Because I am 18 years old and am going to University next year, I’m not sure I could afford really expensive treatment, but I really want something to change the way my teeth look, especially my bottom ones which are really ground down and mishaped and jaggy, they are all also quite discoloured and yellow-ish. Also in a unrelated question, I have had braces in the last year, which have since been taken off. The orthodontist applied a metal bar like thing on the back of my top teeth to keep them from separating , and said that I dont need to go back to him , and that the bar will come off itself. Is this true and how long does it take, as I think it is causing a metallic taste in my mouth. Thanks in advance for your help.

A. Veneers are possible but always at a cost.  The metal permanent retainer is common practice and you may notice a metallic taste from it.

Please note that lumineers are a branded name and that veneers can be made using different techniques and materials, they are not your only choice. Although veneers are thin pieces of porcelain bonded to your teeth, not all veneers are made the same and depending on your situation choosing the correct type of veneer can have quite a different result. Because you have completed orthodontics and realigned your teeth you should be able to achieve excellent results.

Hello,

I am 20 years old going on 21 in a few months I am already in college and I would really like to improve the condition of my smile. I have an 8mm gap in between my two front teeth and other tooth problems. I also have never been to the dentist. I would like to have a hollywood smile. How would I go about this process, how long would it take and how much would it cost total.

Thanks

Good morning. I have been shopping around for pricing on a veneer for my upper left 2 tooth and what I have found is that there is a tremendous differential in the cost of this. Could you please provide me with an estimate onhow much 1 veneer would cost for this tooth or please provide me with theinformation on how to obtain a written estimation. Regards
