I Was Born With The Condition Cleidocranial Dysostosis. What Can Be Done To Make Me Look Like I Have Nice Teeth?

Q.
Hello Dr Moore. I am now 46 years old and was born with cleidocranial dysostosis, which affects the shape of my mouth and my teeth. Most of my teeth are filled and I have a lot missing. What can be done and how much to make me look like I have nice teeth? Would the oralift help the shape of my face? My daughter who is 22 also has this condition. I would like to feel confident and perhaps have implants you cannot see my lower teeth as they are low into mouth. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Hello and thank you for writing in. I think you’d need to speak to a specialist, maybe more than one, before starting this treatment. You should ask your dentist for a referral, or seek out a practice which has access to a number of high level specialist dentists. Make sure they can provide you with examples of similar successful cases. If you would like detailed information on the various cosmetic treatments in the meantime, you can find it through this website. I hope this helps. Best wishes, Dr Andrew Moore.
