I Want To Replace My Dentures With A Set Of Dental Implants, Can I Get Them Through The NHS?

Q.
Hello Andrew, I am 38 and unfortunately with bad living etc I have been wearing a denture on my upper set for 5 yrs. I still see myself as too young for dentures & get to the point in the day when I feel i have to take it out,but with having a partner & kids this is very difficult as I wont let them see me without it. Basically I would like to know the approx cost of an upper set of dental implants, I realise in time bone in the jaw would deteriorate & that would have to be looked at. But I just think I can’t go through the rest of my life with the irritant of my upper denture. Also what does it take to get NHS help in my situation? So I would appreciate any information you could give to me, thank you very much.

Hi, thank you for your question. I’m sorry to hear about your unfortunate events. Implants sound like a good idea if you’re a suitable case however they are not available on the NHS, so please remember that. I hope this helps, good luck.
