I want to remove the white fluoride stains from my teeth

Q. Are you able to remove flouride stains form teeth. It’s mild but slight discolouration is visible.

A. There is a technique of selective dissolving the surface layers of enamel which removes the fluorosis if it is in the top layer of the enamel. However it may make deeper fluorosis stains more visible by removing the surface layer. It is not possible to accurately predict which result you will get.

It is useful on those occasions where the patient is contemplating veneers before doing the veneers

Other options for adults with “mature/stable” gumlines are the ultra thin no prep veneers. Like Thinneers or lumineers.
