Some cases do need CT Scans for implants – this is a 3D image of your jaw showing exactly the depth of bone and how close the nerves are so you can plan exactly where you would place the implant. This will help to give you the best success for the placement of the implant.
Whilst a CT Scan is expensive sometime it really is necessary.
