I want empress veneers what do you think about these

Q. Hello, I am thinking of having Empress Veneers , I am interested to know what the proffessional opinion of these type of veneers is. Also quite importantly, the first appointment will be to prepare the teeth, then a week later the veneers will be fitted. I really wouldl like to know how the teeth will be left for that week, will it be noticable that they have been prepared and will they hurt for that week?

A. There are many types of veneers on the market, Empress being one of them. The choice of veneer types depend on:
- clinical circumstances
- technician and dentist’s preference
Empress veneers are excellent veneers if made prepared correctly by the dentist and made by a good technician.
As you correctly mentioned, the first appointment will consist of preparing the teeth for the veneers, the temporaries which are made should be a prototype of what your veneers will look like. If done correctly, these should cause you no problems.
It is very important when looking for a postgraduate dentist, to look for their postgraduate qualifications and look at before and after photos.
