I’ve just moved to Edinburgh, can you recommend a reputable cosmetic dentist?

Q. I’ve just moved to Edinburgh, can you recommend a reputable cosmetic dentist? If not, should I only choose someone who is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry or are there reputable dentists who are not members of the above?,
A. The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry is a good place to start but excellent dentists can exist outside its membership. Test shop a few practices to see if a free initial consultation with a dentist is possible. Regards Rob

Dr Elaine Halley has recently opened Cherrybank Dental Spa in Edinburgh. In 2009 she was the President of the BACD, and is the only board member in Scotland. We’d be very happy to look after you. Please call 0131 5501601.

I am looking for a skilled cosmetic dentist in Edinburgh,Scotland. should I make it a priority to choose one who is a member of The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,or should I just pick any dentist who offers cosmetic procedures? I cannot afford numerous consultations.

I do not have a regular dentist but I really want my teeth sorted either with veneers or braces. I keep getting bullied and put down because of my teeth but I do not know what to do about it. I have asked in local dentist they are either full or do not give me any practical advice. Please can you tell me what I can do or where to go. Thank you.

You can look up a cosmetic dentist in your area through the BACD who will be able to help you. Regards,
