I Suffer From Epilepsy And The Medication Has Ruined My Teeth, What Can I Do?

Q.
Hi, I suffer from a number of medical conditions, including epilepsy. Due to lots of medication over a lot of years and side effects. My hair, skin and teeth have suffered. My teeth are crooked, but due to illnesses and medications they have also become very weak. I have lost one tooth already. I have no confidence left due to these illnesses and haven’t visited the dentist in a while because of this. I hate my teeth and speak to people and laugh with my hand over my mouth as I am so self conscious about my teeth. I am a single parent who due to these awful illnesses is unable to work. Is there anyway I can get my teeth sorted on the NHS? I’m desperate for help and I just don’t want them getting worse than they already are. Thank you for your kind advice in advance.

Hello there, thank you for your question. I would say that you need to go and visit an NHS dentist who will give you your available options. I can’t really comment as I need to see you in person. Good luck, regards, Riten.
