Q. dear dr! at 33years of age i sufer from advance gum deseas. lost couple of teeth. can i qualify for dental implants? my dentist says that i lost lots of bon
A. Your dentist may have pointed out that it is bone which holds the implants in place – as a result compromised bone may mean you need to look at dentures as an alternative
As a start the first thing to do is get your dentist to refer you to a periodontist to assess your gum disease and ensure it does not get any worse then they will give you all options open to you
