I Need Veneers To Match Up With My Bridge. What Kind Of Upkeep Do Veneers Need?
Q.
I have a bridge as I broke my two front teeth when I was 10 years old if I wanted veneers what would I do about my front teeth so all my teeth look the same. What price would I be looking at for a full set of veneers. How many visits would I need? Also my bridge is nothing like my teeth were so how would I be able to get a perfect smile? What kind of upkeep do I need for veneers? Do I just brush them as my normal teeth?

A.
First of all if you have a bridge then the bridge is likely to need replacing if you need veneers on your other teeth. But the veneers and bridge can be made to match. A veneer cannot be use to replace a missing tooth. The cost of the treatment will very much depend on how many teeth you wish to veneer, the quality of the treatment and the skill and experience of the cosmetic dentist. Visits are from 3 – 6 depending on some factors; planning visits are required as well as review and adjustment visits. You can clean veneers just like real teeth but they actually need a little bit more care and attention and regular dental hygiene visits are essential for their long term maintenance

Hope that helps for now – go for a consultation with an experienced cosmetic or ‘restorative’ dentist to find out more. Kind regards, Dr Mark Hughes.
