I need to have 2 molars taken out
Q. Hello, I have been told today that I will need to have two molars taken out, and the dentist would like to do them on the same day. What are the risks in any? Thank you in advance
A. it should be fine to have 2 molars taken out on the same day. If they need to be taken out because of decay there is a possibility that the tooth may break whilst it is being extracted but then the dentist would just take out the roots separately. If they are going to be taken out due to gum disease they should be relatively simple extractions. If both of the teeth are next to each other you may need some stiches afterwards because the hole would be quite large.
I hope this helps
Kind Regards
