I need surgery to alter my gumline but I also have a crown on my front teeth, would this cause any problems?

Q.
I was looking to have cosmetic surgery to alter the gum line, however i have a crown on one of my front teeth and was wondering if this would be a problem or could it be altered when the gum line is also altered.

Thanks

A.
I would want to get the gum line perfect first and then probably replace that crown I would really need to see you to be able to give you the best options.
