I need an upper left premolar and adjacent molar extracted

Q. I need an upper left premolar and adjacent molar extracted. I am keen on getting implants to replace these teeth. My dentist offers implantology, but he has only placed 40 implants so far (with 100% success). I trust him and consider his work very good, but would I be better to look for a dentist who has placed hundreds or even thousands? He assures me that he would be mentored throughout by a more experienced surgeon.

A. I would speak to your dentist if you have any concerns. The other option is to find another dental surgeon who has had more experience, if this would make you feel more confident.
