I need a tooth to be extracted because there is not

Q. I need a tooth to be extracted because there is not much bone structure left, and I saw a dentist about it. She tells me that I should (in this order): 1. Remove the tooth 2. Get a bone graft 3. Get braces 4. Get the dental implant I’d like to know, do I REALLY need braces? And is the benefit of getting braces prior to the implant WORTH the cost and agony?

A.

The full answer to this question would require a clinical examination and some Xrays +/_ a 3D Jaw scan.
The finished Implant must have healthy bone around it so you must first stabilise the problem that has caused the bone loss around the existing tooth. The treatment that then follows will depend on what you
are prepared to have done, the overall cost and the final result that you wish to get.

If you wish to come to for a day out in Birmingham, contact the practice for a free consultation, If after the consultation you wish to proceed to a detailed written plan, with photo simulation, xrays and study casts the fee is £100. If you need / agree to a 3D jaw scan this is an additional £300.
