I am 69 years old. an in good health Would you advise metal base or plastic. How much is the cost. How long do they last. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each. Which fit more securley the metal or the plastic. Will my mouth change much in the years to come

The choice ultimately depends on the health of the remaining teeth . If they are solid and in good health a chrome denture which is usually less bulky and more hygienic is better
The cost can vary between 550-1200 pounds dependingnonnthe material , design and labs used .
Your mouth will continue to change shape as the jaw bone will slowly remodel and you will lose bone height and width where you have already lot teeth.
If therebisngum disease the rest of the mouth will also suffer.
Dentures should last at least 7 yrs
