I’m waiting for orthodontic treatment but I’m becoming impatient. Can I change where I go or will I have to wait even more?

Q. I am 16 years old and i have been waiting for braces since the age of 11, i have gone through tooth extractions,2 fillings and other various things to my teeth to get them sorted, but this was carried out over 2 years ago now, i really do not want braces in college, and im a really self concious of my teeth, but my orthodontist seems to not do anything ? is there any way i can change where i go, or will i have to wait and go through this whole ordeal once again? thanks.,
A. If you go somewhere else on the Nhs then unfortunately you would have to go on a waiting list again. Your only other option is to pay privately but the cost would be anything from £2000.000

It depends to the practice and how many patients they are allowed to see per year.
