I’m having Lingual braces fitted tomorrow

Q. Hi, I’m having Lingual braces fitted tomorrow and am 31. Recently having spoken to my local dentist I am regretting having chosen the lingual option with the Orthodentist (I chose this for aesthetic reasons as my work involves presenting to outside clients etc). He advised that Linguals are no good - is this the case?? Also how can I ease into the Lingual braces quicker as I understand that eating and talking will be harder??

A. Some people really can not tolerate lingual braces and some really like them.  Other options are removable aligners such as invisalign. A lot of my clients love invisalign and choose them so they can take them out out for important meetings but once they get used to them I find most people keep them in all the time.
