I hv over crowded teeth how can I straighten them?

Q. Hiya Julian I am a 33 yr old woman who has always worried about my smile I have horrible overcrowded teeth and find it hard to smile on a day to day basis I am now sick and tired of hiding my teeth and want to know how I can straighten them and live a happy smiley life

A. The first line of treatment is to consider braces.  These can often be virtually invisable.  Veneers can be used if the teeth are in a reasonable position and the time to give you the beautiful smile can only be a few weeks!   Come and see me if you can for a free consultation

Hi there,

I have a large (5mm) diastema between my two front teeth and overly large frenum. I am told by a dentist at a recent Invisalign consultation that I have a small arch and relatively small teeth. My two front teeth appear larger than they actually are because of this. I also have an overbite. I would like to know what treatments are available to me and how long it would take. I have seen one dentist who advised that Invisalign and Inman Align would not be suitable for me and if I opted for a brace I would have to go with the fixed option (called clear but they are very noticable indeed). I wondered if there was any surgical procedure I could undergo which would speed things up. As before, because of the size of my front teeth veneers would not be suitable as a cosmetic option. Any ideas??? I am really stuck and would really love to get this sorted out as soon as possible. It is difficult to know what to do when seeking advice from individuals who have bias to certain products. It would appear that the US practices are more willing to try different approaches with patients in my situation and have treated patients successfully. However, I would like to remain in the UK for treatment. I would be grateful of any advice you are able to provide. Many thanks.

Please give me a quote for inman aligners & invisalign braces. Do you haveany special offers (eg free teeth whitening). My front tooth are crooked and slightly overlapping. I haven’t had a consultation and am not sure whichtreatment is suitable but would like quotes for both before booking a consultation.

I would like to enquire how much it would cost to have a few veneers at thetop and possibly an invisalign for my bottom row of teeth. One tooth is alot larger than the others on the other side. Even though I had a brace a few years previous, it didn’t seem to keep the said tooth looking straight and tends to stick out.

Hi, I am a 17 year old student. I have previously had braces but my top retainers broke and I didn’t go back to my dentist to get a new retainer. Therefore my top teeth have gone back to the same position they were in beforeI had braces. But they are just slightly out of position. I would like to know which treatment method would be best for me and how much it would costto get my teeth straightened. Thankyou

dentists about my teeth. He sent me for an x-rayand he told me that one of my baby canine teeth in my upper jaw hadn’t fallen out and that I would need the tooth extracted as well as the tooth behind it to make room for the adult tooth that has grown in my upper gum. He told me I would then need to wear braces for at least 18 months to bring thetooth into place. Can I wear invisible braces for this? I’m not in any pain but I don’t like my smile when I look at pictures and would really like to have my smile corrected. Thanks

Dear Sir/Madam, I am looking for an orthodontist to finish 3 years of orthodontic treatment with an invisible brace such as the invisalign. My braceswere removed many years ago (I am 22) and unfortunately I was not given a wire to keep the teeth in place and so some movement has occurred. My current orthodontist has advised me that any treatment should take a minimal amount of time for this reason, and I have had Xrays done recently. However, Iam moving to London in a few weeks and I am therefore looking for a new orthodontist. Would it be possible to receive a very rough quote for the costsinvolved in this treatment and your professional opinion on how long sucha treatment would take, and/or would it be possible to come in for a free consultation to discuss my options with an orthodontist. Many thanks for your time

Just a quick one to as what kind of price are your invisible braces? Im sure there are afew factors that would change the price but im just wonderinga rough estimate. I would only want them on my top row and may even need 2of my incisors removed as my canines have grown over them. Im 21 and they havent bothered me too much but now they really do. Thank you in advance.

Hi I am interested in having braces/invisable braces for my bottom teeth, one of my bottom front teeth has moved back slighty and I would like it to be straightened. Also, I had to have a tooth removed on my top row near the front of my mouth as I cracked it, my dentist recommended some sort of bridge that has wings on either side to attach to the teeth either side of my gap. Would you be able to help me with any of these issues? Thanks

Hi there, I was wondering if someone would be able to give me a price for the invisible braces. I’m not sure if this would even be an option for me since the crossover in my front teeth is pretty bad. I’m looking to get them straightened mainly because I’m not able to brush properly which is leading to cavities and I really don’t want to lose the teeth. Thanks,

Hello, I am interested in having Invisalign treatment for my smile. I neverhad a brace a teenager and my top front teeth slant backwards as a result.I dont think I have overcrowding or many other issues and would love to get this sorted without the use of normal metal braces. I would like to comein for a consulation with the clinic, which after much research I believe to be the best for this treatment and allow me to proceed with confidence. Best

I have a few top teeth and some bottom teeth that are seemingly overcrowded. I also have a tooth (4rth one back) that is almost laying on its side, pushing the bottom row of teeth. Should i get it extracted? or should i get braces?? all my teeth that are ‘crooked’ are leaning inwards. Does that mean i need lingual braces? My two front teeth are also started to go in on themselves..is this a result of the overcrowding?

My front two teeth are slighlty crooked, that is all i need worked on. Would it be easier and cheaper to have a veneer? I think when I asked my dentist if i could have a retainer they said i would need to have a brace because my incisor slighlty covers one of my front teeth but barely and it’s not noticable. Would that also mean i couldnt have a veneer? Thanks

Camila Says :

Veneers are often an alternative to orthodontics in cases of slight crowding. There are a few things that would need checking clinically before a specific recommendation.
