I Have Yellow Teeth From Childhood Antibiotics. Would Whitening Work To Get Rid Of This?

Q.
Hi Mark, I have always had yellow teeth from the moment they come through the gums, some dentist said it was down to a certain anti- biotic. If I tried to have them whitened, would it work or would I be wasting my money? Apart from the yellow problem my teeth don’t look too bad, so what would you recommend? It’s been an embarrassment to me all my life. When I was a child my teacher used to ask me if I’d cleaned my teeth, which gave me a complex at such a young age. I am 44 now and I still don’t smile with my mouth open. I look forward to any advice you can give. Thank you.

Hello and thank you for your enquiry. Have you considered porcelain veneers or composite bonding? Both those solutions could work for you? Try and find a local cosmetic dentist who offers free consultations and see what they might say. If you would like further information on these treatments you can search this website. I hope this helps. Regards, Mark.
